Condolence From: JIM MARPLES
Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the family of Eugene Edward Ochs. He was a good man and great Scottish Rite member, where I met him. Coincidentally, my late mother's Riedl family came from Olmitz (near Great Bend) and my mom had some (distant) relatives named Ochs...I think one may have been a postmistress in or around Olmitz..early 1900 era. Again, my condolences to the entire Ochs family.

Kind regards,

jim Marples

Condolence From: Roderick (Rod) and Rebecca (Becky) Hoffman
Condolence: Terri, Rhonda, Kent and families,
Our sincere condolences to each of you.
I have many fond childhood memories from the old neighborhood.
I had the priviledge to visit with Gene at the Sublette City Park during the Haskell County Fair Picnic this past year. We had a very good conversation. We reminiced about Mike and High School Football, many memories of Gene's days in the Navy, stories of Mary Lou, how much he loved his family. Gene always had a smile and a kind word. He will truly be missed. He has gone on to his reward. I pray God will provide you with peace and comfort as you deal with your loss.
Your Brother and Sister In Christ,
Roderick (Rod) and Rebecca (Becky) Hoffman-- Manhattan, Kansas

Condolence From: Mary Martha (Schreiber) Good
Condolence: Dearest Terri, Kent and Rhonda and Families,

So much time has passed since our last greeting. I am so sorry your wonderful hubby and father has passed from this earth to his heavenly life where he was greeted by Mary Lou. He was quite a man, always had a smile and a kind word. Kent and Rhonda, I hope you are both doing well and that life has been good to you. Terri, I know you will miss Gene, but I pray you will carry on as he would want you to.

I get to Garden City about once a year. I spend my time between El Dorado and Topeka. Our two grown children keep us busy.

Until we meet again, know I am praying for the repose of the soul of this great man you call your husband and Dad. Peace to all of you...

Mary Martha (Schreiber) Good
