Brian Keith Tatman, 52, died Monday, November 2, 2020 as a result of an automobile accident in Seward County. He was born September 12, 1968 to Joyce Laverne (Curtis) and William Levi Tatman in Emporia, Kansas. He attended school in Sublette, graduating in 1987. He married Ronda Rae (Wilcox) on December 19th, 1987 at the United Methodist Church in Plains, Kansas.\n\nBrian was built for football earning him the nickname "Tank." He played while in school and has been a fan of the sport ever since. Brian liked to hunt and fish with buddies or chase coyotes with his Razor. He loved working and playing outside. Brian was passionate about teaching kids how to use a gun or throw the perfect line. He enjoyed cooking and being with friends, especially when it included a cold beer. Brian claimed many people as his family and especially loved his own.\n\nHe is survived by his wife, Ronda, of the home; a son, Garrett Tatman and wife Macy; a daughter Meghan Tatman; grandchildren, Brinleigh and Kason, all of Sublette; plus, many others he claimed as his grandchildren; a sister, Kimberly Jones and husband Kirk of Yates Center, KS; his father-in-law, Ron Wilcox and wife Carolyn of Sublette; and brother-in-law, Ryan Wilcox and wife Brenda of Sublette, KS.\n\nHe is preceded in death by his father, William Tatman; his mother, Joyce Potter; his grandma, Ilda Mae Curtis; an uncle, Steven Curtis; and an aunt Doris Splechter.\n\nCremation has taken place.\n\nA Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Haskell County Cemetery.
