Courtney Eugene "Corky" Roberts, 73, died Friday morning March 26, 2021 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas. He was born on September 24, 1947 to Ruby Eleanor (Simpson) and Cecil Frances Roberts in Garden City, Kansas. He married Jackie Garrison on April 26, 1969 at the Sublette Christian Church and from this union three sons were born.\n\nCorky was never known as someone to turn down a good time, pass up a trip to the casino, miss a nearby auction, have a dull Saturday night or miss out on the Sunday afternoon beer meeting in the shop. Stories and adventures of Corky will fill many people with utter disbelief and uncontrollable fits of laughter. Please raise a glass to the many memories of Corky as he left this world with a life lived in full.\n\nHe is survived by his sons, Brian Roberts and wife Pamela of Satanta, KS, and Kyle Roberts and wife Amanda of Healy, KS; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dave Roberts and companion Pam Powers of Ponca City, OK.\n\nHe is preceded in death by a son, Tracy Roberts; and parents, Cecil and Ruby Roberts.\n\nVisitation will be from 1:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Weeks Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Sublette. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.\n\nFuneral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Satanta First Baptist Church with Pastor Rod Klingsick officiating.
