Wynn Nona “Nonie” McMillan, 79, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Harry Hynes Hospice Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born June 24, 1943 to Florence Maudie (Green) and Willie David McMillan in Ralls, Texas.

Nonie had a servant's heart and was always offering to sit with the sick even when she didn't feel well herself. She was an amazing cook with incredible hospitality skills which she utilized when she had owned a Bed and Breakfast in Colorado. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially game nights. Nonie was a true southern belle and cherished her beloved state of Texas and its bluebonnets.

She is survived by her children, Larry “Gene” Walker II of Wichita, KS, and Rebecca Pickens and husband Michael Pickens of Andale, KS; a step-son, Sidney & Colleen Fahsholtz of Greeley, CO; those who affectionately called her grandma, Heather Pickens of Andale, KS, Garret Pickens of Syracuse, KS, and Matthew Pickens of Dallas, TX; those that called her Gigi, Elijah Hernandez, Hunter Pickens, Avery Pickens, Zakariah, Caraline, and Claire Fahsholtz; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Florence McMillan; a sister, Nelda Griffin; brothers, W.B. McMillan, Denzil McMillan and Bernice McMillan.
